Raw HTML in the source is escaped rather than passed through, and link targets are checked against an allowlist of schemes — so previewing a Markdown file from somewhere else cannot run anything. One consequence of that promise: this site’s Content-Security-Policy blocks every off-site request, so images hosted elsewhere will not load in the preview. The markup for them is still correct in the output.
