Base64
Convert text, a file or an image to Base64 and back, in either alphabet, with optional padding, MIME wrapping and data-URI output. Images get a preview in both directions, ready to copy as an img tag or CSS url(), and text goes through UTF-8 properly so accents and emoji survive the round trip.

Text goes through TextEncoder, so accents and emoji survive the round trip — a plain btoa throws on anything outside Latin-1, which is why so many of these tools break on real names. Images work in both directions: drop one in to get a data URI you can paste into CSS or an img tag, or paste Base64 back to see the picture and save it. The type is read from the bytes themselves, so a mislabelled data URI still lands on the right thing.
